Welcome to my website. I have lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, since 1981. I moved to New York City in 1979 on a Max Beckman Scholarship to the Brooklyn Museum. Before that I lived in Illinois, where I grew up on a farm. I attended Illinois State University and received a B.F.A. degree in 1979 in conjunction with the Brooklyn Museum.Several years later I received an MFA from Brooklyn College. My artwork is about how nature interacts with the man made world. It is also about how the juxtaposition of the natural and the geometric can sometimes create further meaning.
